

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, at the Loveland Church of Christ. Mr. Ron Lauterbach will officiate. Interment will be at Resthaven Memory Garden prior to the Memorial Service.
Mildred “Millie” Eleanor Crown was born November 21, 1932 in Agra, Kansas to Marie (Simmonds) and Solomon Crown. She married her forever sweetheart Leland C. King on May 27, 1951.
Mrs. King was a dedicated and devoted Christian serving countless people through various ministries and volunteer opportunities. Millie sent thousands of cards and assisted others in any way she could, from fixing meals, caring for the sick and neglected, to driving people to appointments.
She enjoyed the outdoors, taking long walks, riding her bike, and music. Millie had a talent for music being proficient at playing the piano and winning first place in a solo vocal music competition.
Millie lived in Colorado since 1958 after residing in Agra, Kansas and other locations while her husband was enlisted in the Air Force.
Survivors include her husband, Leland King of Loveland; three children, Ron King of Loveland, Larry King of Castle Rock, and Sandy Dowling of Tennessee; three brothers Winton Crown of Kansas, Lee Crown originally of California, and Phillip Crown of Kansas; two sisters Irene Deister of California, Norma Reynolds of Kansas; and eight grandchildren.
