

Nancy Irene Landers of Loveland passed away on May 19, 2008 at McKee Medical Center in Loveland, CO. She was born on September 8, 1924 in Lander, WY, to Webster C. and Laura (Rickner) Hambrick. In 1941, she graduated from High School in Lander, WY. In 1944 she married David. She graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1961. Nancy was a teacher in the Poudre Valley School District for 22 years but had ultimately been a life-long teacher. She was involved in many youth organizations, such as Head Start, Scouts, and other youth groups. She was a Member at Life Spring Church. She and her husband traveled to Indonesia, Peru, and Mexico to act as support for Wycliffe Bible Translation from 1985 - 1994. She is survived by her husband, David Landers of Loveland; sons, Gary (Teresa) Landers of Oregon, Doug (Holly) Landers of Loveland, Steven Landers of Arizona; and daughters, Janet Pate of Fort Collins and Lisa (Tim) Vos of Washington. She is also survived by two sisters, Blanche Farthing and Lois (Mike) Allen of Wyoming; seven grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Landers.Visitation will be held 4:00 â?? 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at Life Spring Church, Loveland.
