Nancy D. Ransom of Fort Collins, formerly of Brighton, passed away on February 11, 2009 at the Columbine Care Center West in Fort Collins, CO.She was born on April 5, 1913 in Denver, CO, to William B. and Adele (Simmions) Dugdale. Nancy graduated from high achool and attended two years of college. She was married to James F. Ransom and he preceded her in death. Along with her husband, James, she was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by a daughter, Kathleen (Gary) Schnorr of Ault; grandchildren, Christopher (Robin) Steffens and Jaime(Larry) Justice; step-grandchildren, Heather Schnorr and Heidi Burnette; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Kelsea, Hadyn, Halie, Dylan, and Justice; sister-in-laws, Helen Braun and Audrey Dugdale; nieces, Kay, Sue (Bill), and Nancy Lou; and many great nieces and nephews. Private family services will be held on February 18, 2009.
