

Norma L. Hill passed away on Sunday, February 9th at North Shore Manor. Norma was born on December 23rd, 1931 in Culbertson, NE to Chester and Ada Roberts. She graduated from Culbertson High School in May 1950. Norma married Donald L. Hill on September 3rd, 1950. They were members of the Methodist Church.
Don and Norma lived in McCook, NE from September 1950 to December 1969. They moved to Loveland with their 3 daughters in January 1970.
Norma mostly worked in retail sales for JC Penney, Sears, and a couple of women’s clothing stores in Mesa, AZ. She became a realtor in Loveland and also was co-owner of Windstraw Home Improvement and Tops & Bottoms clothing store with her husband Don. She volunteered at the Loveland Chamber of Commerce Visitor’s Center during the summer months.
Norma loved to play pinochle and bridge. She also loved to square dance. She was an excellent cook. She enjoyed their second home in Mesa, AZ during the winter months.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, a step-mother, a brother, 2 sisters, and 2 step-sisters. Norma is survived by her husband, Don, 3 daughters, Judy Schmidt, husband Randy, Carol Willis, husband Bruce, and Suzette Bryant, husband Rod. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
The Celebration of her life will be held on Monday, February 17th, 1:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made in Norma’s name to the Larimer County Humane Society in care of Resthaven Funeral Home, 8426 S Hwy 287, Fort Collins, CO 80525.
