

She was born March 18, 1937 in Alvordton, Ohio to Garthur and Menettia (Boyd) Severence and was the second eldest of 4 children. Throughout her life Pat lived in Ohio, Michigan, Oregon, Arizona, South Dakota and Colorado.
Pat was a loving mother, grandmother and caregiver. She worked at many jobs with the most noteable being at the Credit Beaurau in Denver and Colorado State University. Pat will be remembered for her Senior Companions volunteer work, love of gardening, sewing, crocheting and knitting. She was known for her famous fried chicken, cherry pie, mushroom bread, fudge and jelly. Pat completed 3 1/2 years of college at South Dakota State University toward a degree in Human Services.
Pat was baptized a Jehovah’s Witness on June 27, 1992. She was an avid reader of the Bible and a devoted Christian.
Left to honor Pat and remember her love are her five sons; Terry Corman (Chrystal), Rick Corman, Rod Corman (Linda), Brad Corman of Sterling, Colorado and Jimmie Donovan (Nicole) of Rapid City, South Dakota; seven grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, sister Lonnie Knudtson and brother Phil Severence (Lisa) and numerous nieces and nephews. Pat was preceded in death by her parents and sister Marie St. Peter.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 11, 2016 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens 8426 S. Hwy 287, Fort Collins, CO 80525. Viewing will begin at 1:00 PM. Service will start at 2:00 PM. Interment and reception will follow the service. The family would like to extend our gratitude to Pathways Hospice and all the staff at Rehabilitation & Nursing Center of the Rockies in Fort Collins for their attentiveness and loving care.
