Patricia Ann Lang

She was born to Arthur Tremor and Velma Moore in Pennsylvania.

Pat graduated from Lorain High School, Lorain, Ohio. She continued her education and became an LPN then worked for Lorain Community Hospital; after her LPN career she worked as an admin in the ER of Fairview Hospital and in doctor’s offices.

She was a resident of Lorain, Ohio until 1978, a resident of Elyria, Ohio until 1988. Pat and Bob moved to Northridge, California for five years, moving back to Ohio until 2000. They retired in Fort Collins and resided in the area for the past 18 years.

Pat married Jim Ritchie in Monroe, Michigan in 1960 and had a daughter, Shannon in 1969. Pat later married her soulmate, Robert Lang, in 1978 and took his family as her own. They had many happy adventures together following their dreams including moving to and traveling around California. During Bob’s long battle with cancer, she was his loving caregiver for 12 years, visiting daily while he was in a nursing home.

Pat was a member of the Church of Christ since 1980. She also attended Meadowlark Church of Christ in Fort Collins. Most recently she attended and was spiritually fed during chapel at the Good Samaritan.

Pat enjoyed watching the Food Network, visiting with friends and playing Bingo at Good Samaritan – Fort Collins. She was a social butterfly! She was also an amazing cook, some of her best meals were her City Chicken, Chow Mein and Johnny Marzetta. Her famous potato and macaroni salads were a party favorite. Then when she no longer was able to cook for her family she enjoyed eating out whenever she could get someone to take her. She belonged to the Ladies Bible Study group at Meadowlark where she met many dear friends. She liked shopping for sales and never bought anything at retail, she loved reading her favorite authors Jodi Picoult, Danielle Steele and John W. Smith and not to forget all the “Chicken Soup” stories. She adored her dogs, a.k.a. her favorite children, Sammie and Trixie. She was often torn between her favorite sport teams being from Cleveland, the Indians and Browns, and when she moved to Colorado, she became a huge Rockies and Broncos fan. But her family meant more to her and gave her the most joy.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lang (2008) and brother, Arthur “Joe” Tremor (2009).

She is survived by her children, Shannon Ritchie, Shirley Moon (Adam), John Lang (Michelle), Patti Logan (Bill) and Mark Lang (Pam); grandchildren, Adriana, Ryan, Abigale, Nicholas, Andrew (Heather), Jenniffer (Gared), Kevin, Corey, Matthew; and eight great-grandchildren.
