My sorrow and sympathy goes out to Patsy's loving family.  I got to know Patsy 4 years ago yet it felt like I knew her forever.  I took communion (and chocolate donuts)to her when she was homebound and unable to drive to Mass.  We had long conversations and most of them were about her family, who she loved very much.  She loved to tell me stories of her growing up in Denver, her parents and her adventures in California.  One day as I was leaving her house, she said ""Love you Babe!""  I broke down and cried because my own grandmother was the only person that ever said that (babe) to me.  She reminded me so much of her.  I thank the good Lord that I was able to see Patsy 3 weeks ago.  I will always cherish our friendship and miss her deeply.  Patsy's family and friends should be grateful to have had such a strong, faithful woman as her in their lives.  I know that I am very thankful.  I love you Pat and I will miss you.  Thank you for the good memories and the honest genuine conversation.  Babe

I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to Pat's family at the loss of your mother and a dear friend.  I have arranged that a Mass be said for Pat on December 13 (first available date) at 5:30 PM at St. John's Catholic Church.  I hope local family members will be able to attend to honor her memory.  May God be with you all during this most difficult time.  May Pat rest in God's peace and love for all eternity.
