Bob was a kind, decent, generous, smart, and funny man. Animals were instinctively drawn to his kind and gentle nature. He enjoyed fishing, sports, cooking, traveling, and reading.
He received his master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and worked as a chemist for 38 years at the Sigma Aldrich Corporation in Milwaukee. After retirement he and his wife, Sandy, moved to the high country in Grand County, Colorado where they lived for 14 years. His second career during those years was as a lumberjack. He currently resided in Fort Collins, Colorado.
He is survived by his wife Sandy (his only and favorite), sister-in-law Heidi (his only and favorite), sister Cynthia and brother-in-law Richard, niece Carolyn (Ken) and nephew Ryan (Shalanda), and grand nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his close and loving friends.
