

Robert Wayne Moses, M.D., passed away October 21, 2007 at his home in Fort Collins, Colorado at age 84. He was born March 13, 1923 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and was preceded in death by his parents, Carroll and Marguerite Moses, and his brother, Winfield.Robert graduated from the University of Chicago in 1946, received his medical degree from Indiana University in 1950, and completed his Psychiatric Residency at the University of Cincinnati in 1953. After graduation, he served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army as a psychiatrist in Bethesda, Maryland, and San Antonio, Texas, from 1953 to 1955. After discharge, he was a Fellow in Psychiatry at the University of Colorado Medical Center in Denver from 1955 to 1956.Doctor Moses maintained a private medical practice while serving as Director at Arapahoe County Mental Health Center in Denver (1956-1959), Medical Director at Bethesda Hospital in Denver (1959Â?1964), Medical Director of Larimer Mental Health Center in Fort Collins (1975-1989), and Medical Director of the Counseling and Guidance Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas (early 1990Â?s).His hobbies included music, reading and walking. He is survived by five children, eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild. A Celebration in Remembrance will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 23, 2007, at Resthaven, 8426 South Highway 287 (south College Ave.) in Fort Collins (3.6 miles south of Harmony).Memorial contributions can be made to the Larimer Center for Mental Health in care of Resthaven Funeral Home, 8426 S Hwy 287, Fort Collins, CO 80525.
