Ruth B. Humrich of Fort Collins passed away on June 28, 2009 at the North Shore Health and Rehab Facility. She was born on July 26, 1915 in Aurora, NE, to William E. and Ella (White) Springer. She graduated from Aurora High in 1933. She married Glenn Humrich in the late 40's in Aurora, NE. He passed away in 1995. She lived in both Omaha and Aurora, NE, before moving to Colorado in 1960. She loved her houseplants and cats. She was a garage saler and enjoyed rock collecting, fishing, and painting. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, and sister, Erma Humrich. She is survived by sons, Michael (Christina) Humrich of Fort Collins and Dan (Kelly) Humrich of Walden; a daughter, Kathy (Robert) Patton of Tomasket, WA; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and a niece, Lynda (Joe) Abendschant of Johnstown.A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Resthaven Funeral Home.
