He was the fourth child and youngest son of the late Harold Thomas O’Grady and Jane (Harding) O’Grady. He is survived by his sister, Cheryl (Larry) Fairleigh Olympia, Washington, sister-in-law Phyllis O’Grady of West Orange, NJ and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. There was a special bond between Thomas and his sister Marcia as she cared for him in the afternoons, from infancy onward, when his parents were at work. That closeness continued through the years.

Winter sledding, Boys Scouts, and GI Joes were replaced with water skiing, boating, bowling, and golf as he grew older. He attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and was a graduate of Oswego State College where he earned his bachelor’s degree. Thomas enjoyed a career in Retail Management in his early years, then became a Financial Advisor at Fidelity Investments in Merrimack, New Hampshire.
After moving to Colorado in 2002 he worked at Norlarco Credit Union with a Management Team of special colleagues. Thomas also worked for New York Life and then enjoyed his last many years as a Senior Investment Consultant at Charles Schwab & Co.
Thomas’s life priority was his family and he never lost the value and priority of that. He did enjoy as an adult, biking, hiking, snow skiing, golf, bowling. He loved the outdoors. During Brennan’s and Connor’s younger years he enjoyed many years of vacations with his family in Stowe, Vermont, while living in New England. Pamela and Thomas especially enjoyed visiting Nantucket for vacations. He moved with his family to Colorado in 2002. Prior to that they lived in Bedford, New Hampshire. He loved the ocean in New England, and especially loved Colorado and the Mountains.
