Tyler Alan Broadway, 35, died peacefully surrounded by family in Windsor, CO on February 20, 2024. Tyler was a caring husband, son, brother, and friend. Though his time with us was cut short, his compassionate spirit will continue to shine brightly in our memories.
Tyler was born to Duane and Nancy Broadway on March 18, 1988, in Menomonee Falls, WI. He was a cherished older brother to Nicholas. A dedicated scout and student, Tyler achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 2005 and graduated from Hartford Union High School in 2006. He furthered his education at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, earning both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees and later becoming a CPA.
After college, Tyler met the love of his life, Thitipa Okman, marrying her on October 24, 2014. Together, they embarked on numerous adventures, including trips to the Bahamas, Thailand, Costa Rica, Punta Cana, and across the United States.
Tyler found joy in various activities, including baseball, football, wrestling, and, of course, spending time with his dog, Lambeau. His support for the Green Bay Packers was unwavering. He had a passion for outdoor pursuits – hiking, fishing, dirt biking, and snowmobiling. His fondest memories were made during his family’s annual camping trips to St. Germain, WI when he was growing up.
His confidence was contagious. Good times were imminent when you were in his company. If you knew or even just saw Tyler, you couldn’t help but acknowledge his huge smile, distinct deep voice and unforgettable laugh - they were signatures of his presence.
Tyler was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Ralph and Bernadine Broadway, his maternal grandparents Terry and Caroline Peterson, and his uncle Kenny Broadway.
Tyler is survived by his devoted wife, Titi, his loving parents, Duane and Nancy, and his loyal brother, Nicholas. He is further survived by his uncles Tom (Letta), Jim (Cheryl), and Rick (Deb), his first cousins Teresa, Andy, Nathaniel, Conner, Zachary, and Crystal, and his second cousins Aiden and Benjamin.
A service to celebrate Tyler’s life will be held on Monday, March 18th at Northbrook Church 4014 Hwy 164 West, Richfield, WI 53076. Visitation at 3:00 pm. Service at 5:00 pm with a gathering for family and friends to follow.
