Virginia (Ginny) Cross died peacefully at home in Fort Collins on August 29, 2013. Ginny lived with grace and joy after her diagnosis with multiple myeloma in 2009. She was born in Colorado Springs, CO on September 17, 1945 and lived as a child on ranches near Sedalia and near Masonville. She graduated from Loveland High School in 1962 and then received her bachelor’s degree from University of Wyoming. She was married in 1966 and moved to Fort Collins. She later received a master’s degree in Human Development from Colorado State University, and a Psy.D. from the University of Northern Colorado. She is survived by her two brothers Harlan and Gary Van Hees, daughters Jeni Cross and Beth Rosen, and grandchildren , Emily and Claire Rosen, and Gunnar and Lars Salzmann.
