I met you in June 1998 when I had severe neck and pack pain. God answered my prayers with your healing Chiropractic hands.  Most importantly, you always gave God the Honor and Glory to your healing hands and methods. 

My sister, Martha, and I will truly miss you because you were more than a loving doctor, your were a caring friend! 

You had tremendous wisdom to offer that only comes from God. I often addressed you as, Pastor Tomp. 

I do not understand why this  occurred.   Only that, God needed you in heaven!

It is with profound sadness that we mourn the passing of Dr. Alfred Tomp, a truly remarkable healer and friend.

Alfred and I met years ago at a networking meeting designed to foster professional growth through mutual referrals. He, the esteemed chiropractor, and I, the massage therapist, approached our initial encounter with a healthy dose of skepticism. However, we quickly discovered that neither of us was ordinary.

Driven by a desire to understand each other's work, we agreed to exchange treatments. What began as a professional arrangement blossomed into an extraordinary partnership. His chiropractic expertise, combined with my massage therapy, created a synergy that brought unparalleled relief and wellness to our shared patients.

Alfred was an outstanding healer; his touch was imbued with empathy and kindness. He possessed a rare ability to see the best in people, and I never heard him utter a harsh word, even when circumstances might have warranted it. I deeply admired his positive outlook and his dedication to healing.

His passing feels far too soon, leaving a void that will be difficult to fill. Alfred, your gentle spirit and healing hands will be sorely missed. We love you.

(2/2) Thank you, dear Dr Tomp, for being such a faithful steward of your craft. Your spirit of excellence, your dedication to serving others, your passion for learning, and your humility- always giving glory to God for the healing that happened in your care- has left an eternal impact. You listened, you prayed, and you tended to every patient with such grace. I can only imagine how many lives you changed with your healing hands and compassionate heart!

And that’s what we’re put on this earth to do: to bring Glory to God, goodness to others, and to extend the nature of the Kingdom to Heaven. You did all of that- so very well. I know, without a doubt, you heard the Lord say, “Well done, my good and faithful servant,” as you entered eternity.

I once joked that you’d be out of a job in Heaven—no more pain, no more misalignments. (Yet somehow, I know you’ll still be using your genius to help people flourish!) You just smiled curiously as we contemplated the wonder of Heaven and the glory of the Lord—right in the middle of neck traction. That was years ago.

It’s hard to believe you’re already there. Far too soon. Our hearts are broken. But then I picture you—whole, radiant, surrounded by love and joy, standing in the presence of Jesus and your family who’s gone before you—and I can’t help but smile through the tears.

You’re home.

You are so deeply loved and profoundly missed, Dr. Tomp.

You were so much more than a chiropractor… you were a mentor, a friend, an encourager, a role model, a prayer warrior, a man of God, a brother in Christ, a hero. You were full of wisdom, discernment, grace, and faith and held a deep reverence for your family, your work and your Savior.

You always knew the right thing to soothe a worried mind and the precise pressure to apply for a complicated adjustment. You held space for your clients in a way that made each of us feel like we were your favorite.

You were strong in your convictions and soft in your delivery. A bright smile and a trustworthy relief on the cloudiest of days. In my most painful moments, I knew: if I could only get to Dr. Tomp, I’ll be okay.

I know I’m not the only one wondering- what in the world are we going to do without you? I was just 12 years old when I saw you for the first time, and I’ll never forget that first adjustment- I was amazed it didn’t hurt! And for the next 32 years, you walked with me through some of the most difficult seasons of scoliosis and disc issues…

Freddie was my dear cousin. I know we lost touch over many years as our lives took different paths with family and careers, but I remember when we were kids and the fun times we would spend together at all our family get togethers with my aunt Violet, cousin Cecilia, and Uncle Bill. I would be so excited to drive from the San Fernando Valley to Yorba Linda and Montebello for our time together. Freddie was not only such a brilliant man, but so kind, caring and engaging. I was very proud and honored to call him my cousin.

Dr. Tomp will be greatly missed! He corrected
my neck problem and I will be grateful forever.
Have been a patient of his for many many years who moved out of Orange County in
2014 but continued being his patient - the
drive didn’t matter because I knew he was
the best.

Our hearts go out to the family, friends and staff of Dr. Tomp. My son and I have been patients  of his for 22 years. There is no one quite like Dr. Tomp. He truly cared about his patients and was a master at his craft.

I’ve been going to Dr Tomp for over 15 years. I’m a big proponent of Chiropractics.  Dr Tomp had a special gift and he was blessed to be a healer like no other. Frankly no one like him. He’s the “best” 
   As a business owner and family man , we spoke of running a business and caring for a family  and all that comes with that often.  Also spoke of health and life in general. He had the gift of being a caring friend to me.   I felt special and I know anyone who has had the privilege of knowing him would agree. 
He was such a positive influence and he healed my ailments and gave me hope. Such a gift to the community.  God Bless you Dr Tomp.

This is heartbreaking. Dr Tomp was exceptional. He changed my life and I’m sure the lives of countless others. It wasn’t just the work he did physically, which was unbelievable but the way he made you feel like you weren’t just a patient but a friend. He is irreplaceable as a healer and my heart goes out to his family and staff, who I’m sure were family. I’m so grateful to have been referred to him over 20 years ago.

This is heartbreaking. I have been a patient of Dr. Tomp for 18 months and as a physician myself, I exhausted the resources the traditional medical system offered for relief of my migraines and neck pain. I suffered for 2 years before finally hearing about Dr. Tomp and his practice. I immediately felt relief both physically and emotionally as my symptoms impacted my overall quality of life. I will always be grateful for not just his work but for him as a person and the care and compassion he showed during every visit. I will never forget the numerous conversations we had about his dedication to his work and love for his family. Alfred had a patient who had been deaf 29 years. He adjusted her and her hearing came back while she was still on the table. She, her mother and Alfred were all in tears.

Dr Tomp was a wonderful Dr . He he wasn’t only your doctor. He was your friend and he cared about you. I went to him for years and he helped me so much. You are a better person by knowing him. I was missing him so the other day I drove by his office, but I didn’t stop. . I wish I had. Prayers to his children and his wife
