

Alice had been staying with her daughter's family in Placentia where she fought a courageous battle against cancer. Always positive, she never gave up. She passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at the age of 76. Alice was born in Owsley County, Kentucky on April 10, 1938 to Elisha and Dorothy Bowling. In 1958 she moved to California with her husband where they made their life and raised four children together. Alice was a loving, caring, and selfless woman who was most proud of her roles as a wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Mitchel Tipton of Corona, daughter, Veronica Hallman (Ramsey) of Placentia, son, David Tipton of San Diego, son, Darryl Tipton (Jeanne) of Fullerton, and ten grandchildren: John Hallman, Matthew Hallman, Robert Olea, Jason Olea, Casey Pearson, Kyle Tipton, Cherise Tipton, Celyne Tipton, Amanda Tipton, Ashley Tipton. Her daughter, Glenda Olea-Pearson, preceded her in death. Services will be Monday, March 16, 2015, at McAulay and Wallace in Yorba Linda. Visitation is at 10:00 am with Services at 11:00 am. Interment will be immediately following at Loma Vista Memorial Park in Fullerton. Special thanks and gratitude to Shelley, Jay, Josephine, Marla, Jackie, and Anna in the skilled nursing facility at Brookdale in Yorba Linda. Alice said you were "the best" and appreciated everything you did for her as did her family. "At the end of the day, the only questions I will ask myself Did I love enough? Did I laugh enough? Did I make a difference?"
