Born on August 26, 1941, in Beirut, Lebanon, Tony was one of six siblings, sharing his childhood with three brothers and two sisters.
Tony’s life was a testament to hard work and dedication. Starting work at the age of 14, he quickly discovered his passion for the beauty industry and opened his first salon by 18. Eager to grow his talents, Tony traveled to Europe to study at several beautician schools.
In his late twenties, Tony met Rima, the love of his life. They welcomed their first child in 1971. In 1975, seeking safety and opportunity, Tony made the brave decision to relocate his family to the United States amidst the turmoil of war in Lebanon.
Continuing his entrepreneurial journey, Tony opened a salon in La Habra before relocating it to Yorba Linda, where he also purchased a family home. There, he built lifelong friendships with many of his clients, becoming a beloved member of the community.
In 1983, Tony welcomed his second son and proudly became a U.S. citizen the following year. While Tony was deeply committed to his work, he also cherished simple joys — weekends spent grilling and watching the Lakers, and his visits to the casino where he enjoyed fun and fellowship with friends.
A man of deep faith, Tony instilled the importance of gratitude and belief in God in his children. In his later years, he faithfully read the Bible and expressed constant thanks for the blessings in his life.
Tony’s greatest pride was his family, especially his beloved sons Rolfe and Michael, and his cherished grandchildren. He lived a life filled with kindness, love, and unwavering dedication to those he cared about.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Tony’s legacy of hard work, kindness, and faith will live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends.
