Berta was born on October 13, 1940 in Hacienda de San Martin, Michoacán, Mexico to Jose Medina and Soledad Ledesma. She came to the United States in 1957 and built a beautiful life and legacy in Placentia.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Castillo and son Bobby Castillo. She is survived by her children Eloisa, Ralph, Elaine, Paul, and David; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and countless family and friends she touched throughout her life.
Viewing services will be held at McAulay & Wallace Mortuary in Fullerton, CA on Thursday, July 7th, 2022 at 4pm with Rosary at 6pm. Mass will be held Friday, July 8th, 2022 at 11:30am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Placentia, CA with burial services to follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Orange, CA.
