Carlotta (Diane) Tiniakoff, a life-long resident of Whittier, CA passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025 at the age of 83. Born July 20, 1942 in Whittier, CA to the late Theodore and Patricia (De La Osa) Krueger, Diane is survived by her partner, children, brother, sister, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Diane dedicated 45 years as a psychiatric technician, her last job at the Correctional Facility of Los Angeles County where she supported the K6-G community, was an inspiration to many and changed lives. She cared deeply for others ensuring the rights of others were protected. She also worked many years at Lanterman State Hospital and at Fairview State Hospital.
Diane kept her private life simple. A lunch at the beach, a trip to Vegas or caring for her lovely home in Whittier filled her days. Her frankness, to-the-point personality mixed in with dry sense of humor kept everyone on their toes and brought smiles to family and friends.
At Diane’s request her remains will be cremated and no service is planned at this time.
