Clifford Eugene McHenry

Clifford Eugene McHenry was born on March 17, 1947 in Long Beach CA.  He met the love of his live, Susan, who lived next door when he was sixteen years old.  Clifford served in the United States Marine Corps from May 1965 until May 1968 and is a veteran of the Vietnam War.

When he returned from Vietnam he married Susan and gained five sister-in-laws. Cliff and Susan raised their two sons, Cliff Jr. and Chris, in La Mirada, CA.  Cliff coached his son’s baseball teams and spent weekends camping, dirt bike riding, hunting, fishing, and rode the Barstow to Vegas race several times.  He became a Papa in 1991 and loved spoiling his three grandchildren, Jacob, Jesse and Madison.

Clifford was a commercial trucking insurance agent for over 35 years before he retired in 2007.  After retirement Cliff purchased his dream diesel pusher motorhome and took off across the US with his wife and friends for many memorable trips.  Cliff was still hunting in 2016 with his sons when he got his largest deer. 

Cliff is survived by his wife Susan McHenry, sons Cliff Jr. and Chris McHenry, his two sisters Elna and Esther, as well as this three grandchildren Jacob, Jesse and Maddison McHenry, their spouses and his soon to be great grandson Maverick McHenry.
