On the morning of March 19, 2026, our dear mother, Gloria Skripko (88) was welcomed into the eternal presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Born and raised with two sisters in the State of New Jersey, in 1975 she packed up the family and headed out West by covered wagon (station wagon that is) to California. When she wasn't busy raising her six children, you would find our mom growing something (orchids, vegetables, and every other plant under the Sun) and taking care of the family petting zoo (dogs, cats, tortoises, cockatiels, parakeets, rabbits, gerbils, and fish)
While her heavenly wings remained covered, her unconditional love and sacrifice for her family were unmistakable and reflected her unyielding faith. Her heavenly passage was preceded by her daughter, Robin Skripko (1978-15) and husband, Robert Skripko (1999-66). She is survived by her sister, Diane Simpson, and children, Deborah Nicholson, Sheryl Mazzocchio, Robert Skripko, Jr., and Sharlene Skripko, stepdaughter Karen Turner, twelve grandchildren, and twenty-one great grandchildren, with one addition on the way this June!
We strongly suspect she is busy in Heaven blessing the Lord, his angels, our sister and dad, with her incomparable macaroni and cheese. We miss you Mommy and can’t wait for the entire family to be reunited once again in Heaven. Until we all meet again – All Our Love.
A Committal Service will be held 11:30 am Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, 7845 Santiago Cyn Rd, Orange, CA 92869.
