Well-known local businesswoman Gloria Winkelmann passed away peacefully on August 13th, 2014 at age 86. She was one of the states first female mortgage company owners, a real estate broker and a pioneer in the employee relocation field. As owner of Winkelmann Realty, she prided herself in running a business based on service and integrity. A woman from a very humble background, she never lost sight of the importance of hard work or her steadfast belief in the American way. She was a committed wife, a wonderful and dedicated mother, and a loyal and generous friend. She leaves behind a void that will never be filled. A rosary service will be held on Tuesday, August 19th, 7:00PM, at McAulay & Wallace Mortuary. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 20th, 12:00 noon, at St. Juliana Falconieri Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Fullerton.
