Justin Michael Sanchez, 22, of Placentia, passed away unexpectedly April 7, 2017, from natural causes. He leaves behind many heartbroken friends and family who loved him dearly and will forever miss his exuberant spirit, his incredible friendliness, and his sweet nature. He was born February 15, 1995, in Fullerton, the son of Johnny and Denise (DeLeon) Sanchez. He attended Yorba Linda schools and graduated from Yorba Linda High School in 2013, where he loved playing right guard and on special teams for the Mustangs football team. Justin received his AA in philosophy from Santiago Community College in 2016, then continued on to his dream school UCLA, where he was majoring in philosophy and halfway through his junior year. He had hoped to become a lawyer. His passions were his Bruins, Lakers, Cowboys and cooking. Family was very important to Justin, and he loved coming home from college on the weekends to spend as much time as he could with his mom and dad, and his brother Christian, all from Placentia. Justin was also loved and survived by his maternal grandmother, Rachel DeLeon, of Anaheim; and his paternal grandfather, Johnny Sanchez (Jan) of Springfield, Virginia. He is also survived by many uncles, an aunt, and several cousins who all adored him, as well as numerous friends. Justin had a way of reaching out to people who seemed to need a friend, and being the exact right friend when they needed him. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Mc Aulay & Wallace Funeral Home in Fullerton. A viewing is being held at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 11, from 4-7 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7PM. The funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Martin DePorres in Yorba Linda. If you would like to donate to a charity in Justin’s name, he favored Autism Speaks for his brother.
