

Born in Norfolk, Nebraska, the daughter of the late Harley and Agnes (Gill) Stutesman, Peg lived the last 45 years in Yorba Linda and Brea, California as a wife, mother, grandmother and registered nurse. She graduated from the St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Omaha, Nebraska. Her extended career as an RN concluded with 20 years at UCI Medical Center in the Surgical ICU in Orange, California.
In her retirement, Peg was an avid reader, participated in multiple book clubs and was an active member of the OLLI Senior Education Classes at Cal State Fullerton. A graduate of the Sacred Heart Academy of Music in Norfolk, Peg enjoyed playing classical piano and acoustic guitar. She loved the fine arts and engaging with her six grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Dr. Edward T. Campagna, her sisters Colleen (Dr. William) Hohn, Patricia (Kenneth) Cheloha, her children Mark (Carol Sheldon) Campagna, Laura (Randy) Squires, John (Roxanne Rivera-Montoya) Campagna and her grandchildren Hannah, Wyatt, Austin, Gelsomina, Vincenzo, Allison and several nieces and nephews. Peg is preceded in death by her infant son, Michael, her brother Harley and sister-in-law, Shirley.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations may be made to the Institute for Myeloma and Bone Cancer Research in W. Hollywood, CA in honor of Margaret “Peg” Campagna. There will be a private service for the Immediate Family.
