Melvin Allen Elrod, 78, of Orange County, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and loved ones on October 31, 2017. He was born in Bell, CA on February 8, 1939 to Lee and Muriel Elrod. He worked over 30 years in industrial supply sales and his final years working in a retirement community. Not only was he a loving father, he brought joy and touched the lives of many. Melvin is survived by his children, Tamara Ostwald, Sandy (Larry) Rocke of Lincoln, NE, and son Lee Elrod of Yorba Linda, CA; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Graveside service will be held at Rosehills Memorial Park on Saturday, Nov. 4th @ 1:00 pm, Gate 1, Southview Lawn. Memorials to: American Cancer Society.
