Michael Ortega Fernandez

Michael O. Fernandez was a man of unwavering faith who lived fearlessly, loved relentlessly, and was constantly organizing everything in-between. He is survived by his wife, four children, six grandchildren, eight in-laws, four cousins, one aunt, two childhood best friends and his beloved Corvette.Born on September 15, 1957, he lived throughout Los Angeles and Orange Counties loving, laughing, and keeping watch over his ever-growing family. He was an accomplished IT Project Manager and Mentor at SoCal Edison for 30+ years. His attention to detail touched every aspect of his life; planning camping trips, meticulously maintaining his home, and teaching his kids everything he knew and loved. It's only fitting to list them all out: • Classic rock, jazz and blues made up the thousands of songs on his iPod. • A Petrillo's pizza was his version of The Iron Triangle - it solved every problem, quickly. • Movies that made every Saturday night better: Back to the Future, Indiana Jones, James Bond, Top Gun, and Ghostbusters. • Driving, washing, and talking about his Corvette just made his face light up. On August 2, 2022, he left this life knowing he gave all he could. As usual, he exceeded everyone’s expectations and we ask that you continue to pray for the repose of his soul.

We love you, Mike and will miss you dearly. Rest easy.
