Raymond Harold Staggs

Raymond was born on February 21, 1935, in Berwyn, IL to William and Florence Staggs. He relocated to Fullerton, CA in 1948 before enlisting in the U.S. Army. Raymond served two tours in The Korean War. After the war, Raymond returned to Fullerton and on December 11, 1965, married Donna Imber Harshman. Together, they raised three sons, George (Sherry) Harshman, Mark (Lan) Harshman, and Tomas (Samantha) Staggs and a daughter, Laura Harshman Cross.

Raymond had a passion for the outdoors and a crafty hand for refurbishing antiques and collectibles. Together, Raymond and Donna traveled the country, selling these antiques. He also loved spending time in his backyard, especially with his four grandchildren, Gianna Cross, Kathryn Davis, Dustin Staggs, and Tucker Staggs. Raymond was known for his quick wit, quiet demeanor, and his kind and compassionate spirit.

Raymond was preceded in death by his father, William; his mother, Florence; and his son, George. He is survived by his wife, Donna; his children, Mark, Laura, and Tomas; and grandchildren, Gianna, Kathryn, Dustin, and Tucker.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2 o’clock on September 30, 2022 at McAulay & Wallace Mortuary, 902 N Harbor Blvd, in Fullerton. Reception to follow.
