On Saturday, February 17, 2018, Robert Alan Horton returned to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. After complications from pneumonia, his battle with Diabetes and Kidney failure ended. His passing was peaceful and painless. Robert was born into a loving Navy family, the first of five children. He grew in strength and character and when he was old enough to serve the very country he loved, he joined the US Navy. After his service, he met the love of his life, his wonderful wife Pam, and they became a complete family upon the birth of their daughter, Heidi. His working life encompassed many careers from Park Service, Marina Maintenance and retiring from Long Haul Trucking. During his retirement Robert was able to enjoy the company of his grandchildren, whom he loved dearly. Predeceased in life by his parents, George and Emily Horton. And his brother Kenny Horton. Robert is survived by his wife Pamella, his daughter Heidi, his grandchildren Emily and Austin, his “Princess” Aunt Anne Ward, his sister Diane Macneil, and his brothers John Horton and Gary Horton. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends. And to Robert—Until we meet again.
