
Ronald C Rodriguez, 87, longtime resident of Placentia, California, passed away in his home on 05/11/2015. He was born in Yorba, California, on 28 August 1927 to Felix and Helen (Castillo) Rodriguez. Ronald was joined in matrimony to Abigail (Parra) in 1948. Together they have 7 children, 5 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Felix, Kenneth, Joseph and Theodore, and grandson Robert. Ronald graduated from Valencia High School in 1945 and enlisted in the U.S. Naval Reserve in June 27th, 1945. He entered active service in December 1945 and was honorably discharged as a Seaman First Class on October 7th, 1947. Ronald had a diverse career as a house framer, tool salesman, encyclopedia salesman, bartender, warehouseman, tour bus driver, and lineman for Southern California Edison. Ronald was an enthusiastic member of St. Joseph's Church, the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion. Ronald is survived by his wife Abigail, daughters Ramona and Rita, son Ronald (Sherry), daughters Roberta (Philip Justice), Rachel, Rosemary (John Albergo), and son, Richard (Heather), grandchildren, Nicolas, Richard (Erica), Ronald (Michelle), Brandon (Jessica), Cameron (Rachel), and great-grandchildren Reese, Emily, Gabriel, Jonathan, Cambria, Rocco, Rhiannon, and Roman, and two babies to be born later this year. A ceremony commemorating his life will be celebrated next month at a date and time to be determined. Cremation is being arranged by McAulay and Wallace and he will be interred at Riverside National Cemetery.
