Ruby Rose (McCoy) Patterson August 16, 1913 - September 11, 2010 Ruby passed away Saturday morning at the age of 97. Originally from Filley, Missouri Ruby travelled to California in 1940/41 with her younger brother John McCoy; she worked as a waitress, met and married Howard M. Patterson, worked for McDonald Douglas during WWII and lived in Fullerton, CA for the remainder of her life. She is survived by her son David H. Patterson, her granddaughters Shawna Gutierrez and Tonya Decker, her great grandchildren Michael Davick, Robert Paredes, David Gutierrez, Ava Rose Decker and Wyatt Decker. A viewing will be held Thursday, September 16, 2010, between 4:00 and 8:00 pm at McAulay & Wallace Mortuaries in Fullerton. She will be laid to rest alongside her father at the Mound Cemetery in Filley, Missouri.
