

Moore, Shirley Mae Poulton passed away peacefully on Mar 14, 2016 in Fullerton, CA. She was born May 19,1921 in Ogden, Utah. Her parents, Ralph and Martha Poulton preceded her in death as well as her brother, Glenn, and her grandson, James Moore. She married John Moore in 1946. He passed away Sept 25, 2010. Shirley graduated from the University of Utah, summa cum laude, in Business Administration. Her greatest joy was her family. She taught piano lessons for many years in Walnut Creek, CA, before moving to Fullerton in 1967. She was employed at GAF for 16 years as an executive secretary. Her laugh was infectious and her love of music, reading, needlework, and animals filled her life. She was an organist for the LDS church for 50 years. Shirley is survived by her 3 children Kathy (Louis) Pavia, Kerry (Keith) Norman, John (Debi) Moore. 9 grandchildren, Vickie (Ron) Rock, Mike (Jenny) Pavia, Joe (Catherine) Pavia, Jake (fiancée Amber Ciampi) Norman, Ben Norman, Katy (Ryan)Shea, Valerie (Jarrett) Norman- Swarr, and Tracy (Peter) Cruz, 16 great-grandchildren, and soon-to-be great great grandson. Services will be held Tues. Mar. 22 at the LDS church on 17130 Bastanchury Rd at 11AM with a viewing at 10 AM. Burial will be held 10:31 AM Wed. Mar. 23 at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside.
