Stanley Ack-Kwong Louie

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 63 years, Joyce Sue Louie, along with his four children Timothy, Jeffrey, Amy,Trisha, his daughter-in-laws Rosalyn and Kimberly, and his son-in laws Robert and Raymond.  He will also be missed by his seven grandchildren, Schuyler, Jay, Morgan, Hunter, Joshua, Olivia, and Damien.  He is survived by his sister Lizhen Xie Huang, her husband Siguang Huang, nephew Lixin Huang, niece Suzanne Dong, and nephew Steve Huang. In addition to his immediate family, he will be dearly missed by his life-long friends, members at the Chinese Baptist Church of Orange County, and the members of the First Church of the Nazarene in Santa Ana.

He was predeceased by his father and mother, Kwock Wah Louie and Yut Ying Louie.

Stanley Ack Kwong Louie was born in Canton, China in 1936.  He emigrated to the United States during his high school years and took residence in San Francisco, California.  There he met his wife, Joyce Sue Louie while attending Galileo High School.  He served in the United States Army from 1960 - 1962 and was honorably discharged after being stationed in New Jersey at the Signal Corps.  He then moved to Southern California in 1962, where he began his career as an electrical engineer for Rockwell International working on parts for space shuttles as well as the larger Apollo project.  As a permanent resident of Southern California, he raised four successful children and faithfully served as a member of two church communities.  While a member of the Chinese Baptist Church of Orange County, he was avidly involved in his senior fellowship, Christmas choir/choir presentations, and bible study.  He also found enjoyment by spending his leisure time doing research on his computer, watching television, and getting together with his family and friends.

Memorial services will be held on November 27, 2021 at 11 AM at the Chinese Baptist Church of Orange County, 412 East Broadway, Anaheim, California, 92805.
