

Yvonne Anderson Stover, born on December 28, 1955 in New York to jazz artist Art Farmer and jazz singer, Ernestine Anderson which both preceded her in death. Yvonne grew up in Seattle, WA, where she attended Garfield High School and continued her education at the University of Washington. She worked for Nordstrom where she created the Studio Services Department, which provided wardrobe for TV shows and movies alike.
In August of 1987, Yvonne met the love of her life Reginald Stover and they dated for 2 years until they made it official and wed in August of 1989. She continued her expertise in retail and by taking her talent for fashion to Saks Fifth Ave. Where she worked as a buyer. In 1990, Yvonne opened up her own daycare, loving and caring for babies and toddlers until she decided to make the move and assist her husband as co-owner and bookkeeper for their business, Nationwide Detailing at CBS Studios. In her spare time, which was fleeting, Yvonne would be caught reading one of her favorite books. Reginald and Yvonne took many trips traveling all over. Her most precious memories were of their trips to Barbados, Vancouver, Canada, and Big Bear, California just to name a few.
Yvonne went home to be with the Lord on January 3, 2024. She is survived her loving husband, Reginald; Sons Che, Bryce, and Deyvn; Stepchildren Reginald Jr. and Courtney; Grandchildren Che John, Bella, Alula Rose; Step grandchildren Julius, Memphis, Mahogany; Sister Shelley Young; Brother Michael Young; and many other family and friends.
A funeral service for Yvonne will be held Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Tabernacle of Faith, 11328 S. Central Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90059.
