Daniel James Tuite

Daniel James Tuite was born in Rochester, New York. He is survived by his brother Edward Tuite (Norene), Children Theresa Tuite, Judy Hanger, (James), Patricia Earp, Timothy Tuite, Roxanne Deciutiis, (Nicholas), Grandchildren Sarah, Daniel, Nicole, Nicholas, Brian, Kyra, Kayleigh, Cierra, and Nicholas, and Great-grandchildren Jayson, Riley, Dayton, Daiya, Daniela, Christian, Madison, Kendall, and Too many nieces and nephews to mention!

A heartfelt thank you from his children to his ex-wife, Gail Tuite, who showed what love and compassion really is, and helped him in this very difficult journey.

Daniel was born and raised in Rochester, New York he moved his family to Maryland in the sixties. In the seventies he purchased recreational property at Indian Acres in Thornburg VA, he enjoyed life to the fullest, he loved his children, grandchildren, playing the guitar and singing.

He even played at local nursing homes for the residents and held fundraisers for the Special Olympics.

He enjoyed the outdoors golfing, hunting, camping, fishing, boating, but most of all he enjoyed picking his guitar.

He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, the Loyal Order of the Moose Club International, and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at DeVol Funeral Home, 10 East Deer Park Drive, Gaithersburg, MD, followed by a funeral service starting at 11:00AM.
