Dismas Baransaka

Loving husband of Claudine Barandagiye, Devoted father of Monia, Kelly, Stephie and Samuel, Beloved brother of Astere Baransaka, Imelde Baransaka and Dr. Elysee Baransaka,  Dismas Baransaka, born March 1961, passed away surrounded by his family on December 24, 2016 in Rockville , Maryland, USA.

He was working for the World Bank at the time of his passing.  A respected economist, he had previously worked for the government of Burundi in various capacity prior to joining the World Bank. 

He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends all over the world.  Final burial will be held in his home country of Burundi in January 2017.

For those in USA, a memorial service will be held in Bethesda, Maryland on Friday December 30, 2016 at 2:00 pm.
