In 1961, Glynn moved with his parents to reside in Yeadon, Pennsylvania. Always an active child, Glynn built rockets, became a Boy Scout and learned to play the piano, the trumpet and the guitar. Glynn attended Yeadon’s William B. Evans elementary school and the Yeadon Jr/Sr. High School. During his years at Yeadon High School, Glynn was the Co-Captain of the Yeadon High School football team and a member of the Yeadon High School Track Team.
Glynn’s postsecondary life included earning a BS and MS in Economics from the University of Delaware, in Newark, Delaware. While attending school at the University of Delaware, Glynn made lifelong friends, became a Deer Park Tavern regular, and a Blue Hen football fan for life.
Through the years, Glynn worked as an Economist, Cybersecurity Specialist, and was the Founder and President of WiFiConsulting.
Glynn’s career path led him to reside in Washington, DC, where he met the love of his life, and future wife, Rebecca Racosky. When they married in 2001, at the wedding Glynn quoted his Dad and said, “You don’t find someone you can live with, you find someone who you can’t live without.” Glynn was kind and brought joy to all his friends and family. He had the special gift to add laughter and silliness to any situation and made everyone feel welcomed and loved. Glynn couldn’t wait to share the latest “cool” thing he had watched, read, or listened to. He loved all music, especially live music. He saw everyone, everywhere and shared photos and stories to make you feel like you were right there with him.
Glynn loved…Rebecca, family & friends, travel, scuba diving, bike riding, photography, football, the Philadelphia Eagles, Corvettes, Formula 1 racing and lived well, touching the lives of many.
Glynn went to be with the Lord on December 31, 2022. He is predeceased by his parents, Roosevelt Taylor and Gloria Taylor. Glynn leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Rebecca Taylor, his siblings, Teri Taylor and Roosevelt Taylor, his godchildren, Elizabeth Vos and Alexander Vos , his sister in-law, Margaret Vos, his brothers in-law, James Racosky and David Racosky, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
