Gregory Nicholas Pappas Sr.

Gregory Nicholas Pappas, Sr. (64) of Germantown, MD passed away peacefully at home on January 17, 2026. Greg was the devoted husband to Teresita and beloved father of Gregory Jr(Sandy), Alexander(Sthefany), Christopher, and Silvia(Taylor). Adored Papou of Leo and Nicholas. Cherished son of Donna Pappas and the late Nicholas Peter Pappas; beloved brother of Vicki and Christi(Rob); wonderful uncle of Sean(Laura), Jennifer, and Elizabeth, and grand uncle of Lily and Hailey. Greg was previously married to Rossana Lawrence.

Greg was a lifelong Montgomery County, MD resident. He enjoyed motocross racing at Budds Creek and loved riding his Bulltaco. He graduated from Thomas S. Wootton High School, where he played trumpet in the band, and then attended MC. He was a cook at Potomac Pizza until he went back to Montgomery College to get his certification to become a great HVAC Technician. Greg worked hard to troubleshoot any issue and usually found the problem, and treated his customers with respect and fairness, and they requested him. He worked for CroppMetcalfe then ParkerPearce/Service Experts for 25 years.

Visitation will be held at 9:30AM to be followed by a funeral service at 10:30AM on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at the Greek Orthodox Church of Saint George, 7701 Bradley Blvd, Bethesda, MD. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 13801 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD.
