James P. Kirk

Suddenly on Friday, October 16, 2015, James P. Kirk died at his home in Olney, MD.  He is the beloved husband of Louise Lund; the loving father of Kelly Jean Cutler and her husband George, Finley, WA and Peter Arlan Kirk, Olney, MD; the grandfather of Brock and Brayden Kirk; dear brother of Charlie Kirk and his wife Sally, Sedro Woolley, WA; nephew of Patricia Koon, Seattle, WA and Pat Harrell, Vancouver, WA; uncle of Robin and Hazard Kirk, Sedro Woolley, WA. 

He was a man of many interests and talents: cooking, photography, Native American flutes, computers, teaching, sports cars, Boy Scouts, etc.  Most of all, he loved people, and they loved him back. He will be greatly missed by many.

A celebration of his life will be held at First Baptist Church of Gaithersburg, 200 West Diamond Avenue, Gaithersburg, MD 20877 on November 7, 2015 at 1 pm.

Interment will be held privately at a later date.
