John J. Kosko

Mr. John Joseph Kosko, 74 of Germantown, MD passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023. Born in Washington, DC on September 30, 1948, he was a son of the late John J. and Anna Kosko. He attended the University of Maryland for Electrical Engineering. He began his career as an engineer at Vitro, and later worked as a consultant for the US Navy.

John loved fishing, playing guitar, listening to music, watching the Redskins, hanging out with his grandkids, building things, visiting his beach house in Ocean Pines, Maryland, and family trips to Disney, Myrtle Beach, and Ohio to visit family.

He always was prepared for anything and had wisdom to share.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Janice Kosko, brother Jerry Kosko, daughter Katie Durski, son in law Anthony, and grandkids Joe and Anna.

Friends may call at Mother Seton Parish, 19951 Father Hurley Boulevard, Germantown, MD 20874 on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial offered at 11:30 AM. Interment will be private.
