On Friday November 12, 2021 John C. Sasso of Gaithersburg, Maryland passed away peacefully at Holy Cross Hospice in Germantown, Maryland after a short illness. Beloved husband of the late Mary E. Pendy Sasso; Loving father of Lori Ann Sasso Lydard (Martin) and the late Mary Lynn Margelis. Grandfather of William “P.J.” Margelis (Jane) and Beth Ann Lydard and great grandfather of Mary Sophia Margelis. Father-in-law of William G. Margelis
Friends may call at DeVol Funeral Home, 10 East Deer Park Drive, Gaithersburg, Maryland 20877 on Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 10:30 to 11:00 AM at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 9000 Warfield Road, Gaithersburg, Maryland 20882 where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
