Great-grandfather of Mary Claire.
A devout Roman Catholic, he graduated from St. Joseph School and Rice Catholic High School in New York City. He served in the South Pacific in World War II at Okinawa and other sites. He was a New York City Policeman serving as patrolman, Sergeant and Lieutenant, mostly in Harlem.
Friends may call on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 10103 Georgia Ave., Silver Spring, MD 20902 from 10am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Interment Friday, July 1, at 12:30pm in Dagsboro, DE at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
