

She is survived by two sons James and his wife Roxann of Cedarburg, Wisconsin; John and his wife Melissa of Gaithersburg, Maryland and two daughters Theresa Pelletier of Farmingdale, Maine and Jennifer Loyer and her husband Jason of Ashburn, Virginia. In addition, she has nine grandchildren, Aimee Pelletier, Michelle Pelletier, Nicole Pelletier, Nicholas Gracyalny, Max Gracyalny, Jacob Gracyalny, Zachary Gracyalny, Fletcher Loyer, and Dashel Loyer. She is preceded in death by her husband of nearly 60 years, Donald Gracyalny.
Margy was born on June 6, 1939 in Sayre, PA. Shortly after graduating from Nazareth College, she began work as a lab technician.
Don and Margy were married on October 20, 1962. After marriage, Margy dedicated her time to raising their four children.
In her spare time, Margy enjoyed playing tennis, reading, playing bridge andMahjong. She also spent time volunteering to support her local elderly community. Fiercely proud of her Irish heritage, each year on St. Patrick’s Day Margy was quick to remind everyone that she was a “Murphy” before her marriage to Don.
Margy also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, including a family Christmas trip to Marco Island in 2018.
A private interment service for the deceased will be held on Friday, November 25, 2022 at 2:00PM with Rev. Dominic M. DiBiccaro, Pastor at St. Ignatius Loyola Parish in Orrtanna, PA officiating.All are invited to join the family for a reception celebrating Margy’s life from 3:00-6:00 PM Friday, November 25, 2022 at The Orchards Restaurant 1580 Orchard Dr. Chambersburg, PA.
