On Wednesday, November 16, 2016. Daughter of the late Edmund M. Toland and Lenora Sheehan Toland; sister of the late Margaret Mary Toland, Lenora T. Amorosi, Edmund M. Toland and John S. Toland. She is survived by her brother, Francis S. Toland. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She will also be greatly missed by her cat, Flo. Betsy attended grade school at Blessed Sacrament and graduated from Georgetown Visitation High School. She graduated from Trinity College. She received her MSW from Boston College and Ph.D. from Catholic University. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament, 3630 Quesada St., NW, on Monday, November 21, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
