Matthew David Warriner, who was younger than his wife, reluctantly died January 28 after fighting pancreatic cancer for over a year. The son of Terry Warriner of Clarksburg and the late Maureen Warriner, he was born January 2, 1977, at Montgomery General Hospital in Olney. He was a lifelong resident of Montgomery County and hated the way everyone drives here. He believed all sports were worth watching, all burgers were worth eating (hold the vegetables), and all history books were worth reading as long as they weighed more than 8 pounds.
Matthew will be greatly missed by his older wife, Heather; his father, Terry Warriner, and his wife, Meaghan; his sister, Michele Reed, her husband, Patrick, and their children, Alyssa, Danielle and Luke; his uncle, Steve Seebode, and his wife, Melody; as well as the many aunts, uncles and cousins in his large extended family.
Matthew hated going to funerals, so we won't make him go to one more. Instead, family and friends will be celebrating his life on Friday, January 31, 6-10 p.m., at the DoubleTree by Hilton Washington DC North/Gaithersburg, 620 Perry Parkway in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
Special thanks to all the doctors, nurses, and staff at Maryland Oncology Hematology who took such good care of him.
