Michael William Murray

Born on January 25, 1957, in Bethesda, MD, he is the son of Ralph Murray and the late Mildred Murray. He graduated from Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville, MD and was a Forman at AmLiner East in Berryville, VA for the last 15 years. As well as a longtime member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #1136 & #3509 and the Moose Lodge #1540.

He is predeceased by his mother, Mildred Murray, and his sister, Deborah Murray.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Jeannette “Jan” Murray. They met at the Silver Fox in Rockville, MD in 1980. They married one year later on November 7, 1981 at the Baptist Church in Gaithersburg, MD.

Mike is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Michelle Murray of Germantown, MD, stepdaughter, Jeannie Rodbell (Ivan) of Southport, NC, and stepson, Eugene Deener of Germantown, MD; four grand-children Jennifer Dronsfield (Drew), Samantha Rodbell (Adrian), Chloe Baker, and Andrew Deener; three sisters Carol Pagel (Mike), Sharon Michael (Terry), and Laura Waggoner (Mike); and numerous great grand-children, nieces, and nephews.

Mike enjoyed traveling with his wife, spending time with family, and watching the Washington Redskins and Washington Capitals.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3509, 19201 Frederick Rd, Germantown, MD 20876 on Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 12:00pm-4:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mike to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231.
