Michael Popp

On Thursday, December 3, 2015, Michael Popp (Age 83) of Gaithersburg, MD; formerly of Twin Rocks, PA.  Beloved husband of 60 years to Kay Popp (nee Dugan); loving father of Jim Popp, Mickey Popp, Kathleen McDonald and her husband Jonathan and the late Connie Popp; adoring ?Pappy? of Tom Popp and his wife Felicia, and Jon, Connor and Bryan McDonald; great grandfather of Brogan Popp; son of the late Steve and Julia (nee Hubi) Popp, Sr. He is survived by his loving sisters Anne and Julie; and was predeceased by his sisters, Mary, Lizzy and Helen and his brothers Moosie, Putter and Steve.

Mike served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from the Montgomery County Police Department after serving for 30 years.

Memorial Service will be held at DeVol Funeral Home, 10 East Deer Park Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20877 on Wednesday, December 9th at 11:00 a.m. where friends will be received from 10am until 11:00 a.m.

Interment will be held privately.
