Nicholas Gustavo Foo

We are all devastated by the sudden loss of Nicholas Gustavo Foo late Friday afternoon, June 10, 2022. He was a loving son, fiancé, nephew, grandson and friend to many. He is survived by his parents, Donna and Mike, fiancée, Hessly Fonseca, and loving dogs, Bear and Bella.

Nick was born in Fernando de la Mora, Paraguay, South America October 19, 1994, and became a US citizen in 1995. From an early age he adventured in the Caribbean, traveled the Atlantic seaboard from northernmost Maine to Key West, crossed the Rocky Mountains , and rafted the Colorado River. He first snorkeled at age six and in 2021 Hessly convinced him to parasail over the blue waters of St. Maarten.

There wasn’t a sport that Nick didn’t love. He played soccer, football, basketball, but his favorite was lacrosse. Cars were also his passion. He enjoyed going to car shows with his buddies, and tinkering under the hood.

Nick was the ultimate extrovert. He was always happy and wanted everyone else to be, so many times you had to listen to his goofy jokes. He was loyal to his family and friends and would do anything for them.

A visitation and memorial service will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 at De Vol Funeral Home, 10 East Deer Park Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20877. The visitation will begin at 10:00am, and the service will follow at 11:00am.
