We regret to inform you of the peaceful passing away of Noela Theresa Noronha (Nellie) on Friday, March 15, 2019 at the age of 86 years. A wake will be held on Monday, March 18, 2019 from 6 – 8 p.m. at De Vol Funeral Home, 10 East Deer Park Drive, Maryland 20877. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 19 at St John Neumann Catholic Church, 9000 Warfield Road, Gaithersburg, Maryland 20882. Viewing at 10:00 a.m. will be followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Noela, widow of the Late Colonel Michael Noronha, beloved mother to Clifford (late Rubina), Genevieve (Trevor), Peter (Anita) and Anne (Joseph), grandmother to Michael, Paul (Stephanie), Michelle (Michael), Joanne (Angelus), Carol, Daniel, Nicole, Anjali and Sonali. In lieu of flowers you may donate to your favorite charity or the causes that Noela cared about - such as housing for low-income people. The family requests only prayers for the repose of her soul.
