Patricia M. Badolato

Patricia Badolato of Derwood, Maryland, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026. Pat was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose kindness, generosity, and quiet faith shaped the lives of those around her.

Born and raised in Arlington, Virginia, Patricia was the third of seven children. She later met the love of her life, James, and the two shared nearly 60 years of marriage together. Their life was centered on family, and Pat took great joy in caring for and supporting her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was always ready to offer encouragement, lend a hand, or simply be present when someone needed her.

Pat was a longtime member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Derwood. Her faith was an important part of her life and guided the way she treated others—with humility, compassion, and a spirit of service. She was known for her generosity with both her time and her prayers, and many people were touched by her quiet dedication to helping others.

Patricia is survived by her beloved husband, James; her son, Vincent Badolato (wife Danielle); her daughter, Gina Westlake (husband William) and their sons Taylor (wife Rachael and children Lily and Levi), Jonathan, and Stephen; her daughter, Andrea Rotter (husband Lawrence) and their children Austin, Linsey, and Landon; and her sisters, Judy Thomas and Teresa Graham.

Family and friends will be received at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 6701 Muncaster Mill Rd., Derwood, MD 20855 on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 10:00AM with a Memorial Mass to follow at 11:00AM.
