Paula Irene Podhasky

Paula Irene Podhasky died February the third after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 37 years James F. Hobson, her son Alex, her daughter Maria Rosalie Regis and her new son-in law Andrew Regis. She is also survived by her brother Joseph Podhasky and his wife Eileen. She was predeceased by her parents Carroll and Charles Podhasky and her brother Michael. There will be funeral at Immanuel Episcopal Church 3263 Old Church Rd, Mechanicsville VA 23111 with a reception to follow. There will also be a memorial service at St Anne?s Episcopal Church in Damascus Maryland at a later date. In lieu of flowers please donate to the American Cancer Society or St Francis of Assisi Catholic School, Burien WA.

Paula was born in Van Nuys, California and grew up in Seattle Washington.  She attended St Francis of Assisi Catholic School, Highline High School, and Western Washington University. She worked as a Toxicologist at the American Petroleum Institute. She enjoyed outdoor activities including hiking, skiing, mountain climbing and scuba diving. She enjoyed visiting multiple National Parks and cruising the world.  Many thanks for the years of loving support from family, friends, church members, and doctors, nurses, and other healthcare workers.
