Robert Stanley Dodd

A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Monday October 28, 2024 at Parklawn Memorial Park, Rockville, MD. Masonic Lodge Wheaton Lodge #228 will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Dodd was born in Washington, D.C. on August 3, 1938 to the late Stanley Field Dodd and Maxine Winn Dodd. He worked as a supervisor for Verizon until his retirement. Mr. Dodd was a member of the United States Navy, the Wheaton Masonic Lodge #228 in Wheaton, MD, Shriners and the Tall Cedars of Lebanon. He enjoyed photography, playing golf, watching TV and eating ice cream.

Survivors include his son, Jeffrey Stuart Dodd and wife Beth of Chapel Hill, NC, and a grandson, Quinn Dodd of Chapel Hill.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Diana Dodd, a daughter, Karen Marie Dodd, and a sister Betty Pearson.

The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until 12:00PM on Monday October 28, 2024 at DeVol Funeral Home in Gaithersburg, MD.
